Since I was a child, I have always had an interest in finance and how the stock market worked. I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in business management while working in international logistics. At the logistics firm, I dipped my toe into foreign exchange funds and other financial instruments. This, and the realization that many families hadn’t done nearly enough to grow and protect their assets, piqued my interest in becoming a Financial Advisor.

Shortly after graduating, I moved to Colorado Springs and started searching for a firm that aligned with my goals of creating financial plans for clients, and guiding them and their investments to retirement and beyond. I went through an extensive training program with a national firm that emphasized full-service financial planning, and in the process, obtained my Series 7 (Stockbroker) and Series 66 (Financial Advisor) licenses in addition to my life and health licenses.

I have been serving families in the Colorado Springs area and some out-of-state clients for over 17 years. My passion is in really getting to know my clients on a personal level so that I can be a valuable resource to them as they navigate toward their financial goals.

I like to spend my spare time volunteering, and hiking with my husband Greg and our two dogs. I have worked with several non-profit animal rescues in town, at times on the board and other times as a volunteer. I love living in Colorado and forming deep relationships with my clients and friends.

After my time in the military and completing my college education, I ventured into the world of technical sales and sales management, where I honed my skills in communication and strategic thinking for several years. This experience laid the groundwork for my transition into the financial planning and wealth management sector in the year 2000. My career as a financial advisor began in Denver, working with a national firm where I developed a deep understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.

My journey in the financial industry led me to manage two offices in Northern Colorado, where I embraced the challenges and rewards of leadership. Eventually, I took on the role of Managing Principal in Colorado Springs, overseeing the operations and growth of four offices. This role not only tested my capabilities but also enriched my expertise in managing diverse teams and complex financial portfolios.

When businesses reopened after the COVID-19 pandemic, I seized the opportunity to join Rebekah at Concerto Financial Partners as a wealth manager. Here, I dedicate myself to conducting ongoing investment analysis and designing portfolios that align with our clients’ unique financial goals. I’ve found a particular niche in assisting individuals to navigate the financial complexities before, during, and after a divorce, ensuring they emerge from these transitions with a solid financial foundation.

Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for the great outdoors, often spending my free time hiking and exploring the natural beauty that surrounds us with Rebekah and our two dogs. Traveling is another pursuit that fuels my soul, offering me new perspectives and experiences. I’m also an avid reader and writer, constantly seeking out new knowledge and ways to express my thoughts and insights. Whether it’s the latest bestseller or a hidden gem, you’ll frequently find me with a book in hand, eager to discover new ideas and stories.
